Join us for an unforgettable dining experience! The chicken wings are hands down the star of the show. Customers rave about their substantial size and flavor, which makes them a must-try. Many love the variety of sauces, especially for those who appreciate a spicy challenge. The friendly and attentive staff enhances the overall experience, and the casual atmosphere encourages a relaxed dining experience. I often hear patrons joking around while taking on spice challenges, which adds to the place's charm. Additionally, the desserts—especially the cheesecakes—are mentioned frequently, providing a delightful finish to the meal. Plus, the wonderful selection of craft beers allows for a perfect pairing with the mouthwatering dishes.
Some guests note that the popularity can lead to long wait times, especially during busy periods. Given the need for reservations, it seems the demand often exceeds availability, which can be frustrating for walk-ins. A few reviews mentioned that some may find the spiciness of certain wings to be overwhelming, a consideration for those not accustomed to heat. Parking can also be tricky in the area, so it’s wise to plan ahead if driving. Lastly, while the environment is casual, a few diners would appreciate a bit more variety on the menu, especially for those looking for non-chicken options.
Really amazing wings and goujons. Atmosphere great and it is really nice round here to get friendly and helpful staff. Definitely coming back next week and may well move from hot to very hot 🔥 Brilliant place. Made a massive mistake last night walking past thinking it was a chippy. It is most definitely the best place to eat round here. Streets ahead of the local up your arse shite service steak house.
The food is lush here, the chicken wings are very substantial. You definitely get your moneys worth. Libby was our server and she was absolutely great, very professional and polite.
Fryer tucks has been a weekly visit for quite some time now for me and a group of friends. If you like chicken and amazing flavours this is the place for you. Plenty of sauces/toppings to choose from, including a whole range of some of the spiciest sauces you’ll probably ever come across, so also if you like a bit of spice, this is also the place for you, some are not for the faint hearted!! Trust me haha. Various spice challenges also, good for a laugh with a group of friends unless you’re the one they’re laughing at. Great atmosphere, great service very friendly and chatty. Also cheesecakes to die for 👌
Delicious cauliflower wings & super tasty sauces. They had a few newer/specials sauces available & we were spoken through the ones we were interested in. A great chill Saturday night dinner, great beer & good atmosphere! (and possibly the best chips i’ve ever had) Book in advance, they’re super popular here & it can be tough to get a table.. it’s sooo worth it though 🤤
Amazing value, lovely team, friendly relaxed vibe and great concept. Simple, do one thing really well! They were also very dog-friendly and even gave our dog her very own goujon - treated like a true VIP. Highly recommend.
I was a little hesitant about going here for food as the only items on the menu were wings and gougons. However, I bite the bullet and decided to try it and boy, was I wrong for hesitating. They provided me with a takeaway, which is not something they usually do. I must admit, the size of the chicken gougons was bigger than expected and so tasty. These were accompanied by some of the best chips iv had in a long time! Staff were lovely and so accomidating, I can't wait to return when I'm in the area next!
Best chicken in Bridgwater. I was over for the funeral of a family member, and since I hadn't been over in a few years, I looked up new places in town. I knew this was a must try, however I wasn't in town long to make a reservation. I stopped in and the staff graciously let my aunt and myself have dinner. We really loved it. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I had the habanero tenders (goujons). I love spicy, but holy moly those were so spicy. Talk about sweating while you eat & clean out your sinuses 😂😂 my aunt had the Philly and said they were lovely. The chips (fries) were great. The only suggestion I have is to have a side of ranch to dip wings/tenders (goujons) in. I can't wait to come back (with a reservation)
